About Lynda Evans
Lynda Evans started drawing and painting alongside her artist mother at a very early age. Visits to her grandfather's studio (muralist Ezra Winter, whose work can be seen in Radio Center Music Hall and all over the country) spurred her interest in being involved in art. As she was growing up she was constantly drawing and during high school and college she took any art courses that would fit into her schedule.
Painting was not a part of her adult life until recently when Lynda and her husband moved to Bucks County, PA. There, her schedule was freed up enough to begin to paint. Now, using her grandfather's easel, Lynda is doing what she has always wanted to do...paint, in her home studio. Mostly self-taught, she has taken workshops with both local and internationally known artists from whom she has learned the basics of handling the mediums and certain techniques. She enjoys the process of self expression in portraying the countryside of Bucks County as well as those places she travels to both here and abroad.
Lynda has paintings in private collections in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, Florida, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Maine, Wisconsin, and Tennessee.
